About Vatsala
Vatsala Sperling MS, PhD (clinical microbiology), PDHom (homeopathy), RSHom (NA), CCH
Born in India, Vatsala Sperling was raised with Homeopathy. In college she studied clinical microbiology and earned a postgraduate degree as well as a gold medal for academic excellence. After successfully completing a doctoral thesis (Ph. D.), she practiced as Chief of clinical microbiology services in Kanchi Kamakoti Childs Trust Hospital in Chennai, India.
Vatsala’s innate interest in the gentle healing possibilities of Homeopathy guided her since 2005 to a four and a half years of intense study at the School of homeopathy, Devon, UK.
Presently, she continues studying with various eminent teachers from around the world, by participating in clinical training, webinars, seminars and workshops. She has also devoted volunteer services in various capacities to National Center for Homeopathy, Council for homeopathic certification and the North American Society of Homeopaths.

1969–79: Several prizes and awards for public speaking, art, creative writing and dramatics contests throughout middle and high school years, Jamshedpur, India.
1986: Gold medal from the President of India for outstanding academic excellence in Master’s Degree course (M.S.) in Clinical Microbiology
1987–89: Junior Research Fellowship from Indian Council of Medical Research, New Delhi, India.
1989–91: Senior Research Fellowship from Indian Council of Medical Research, New Delhi, India.
